The university is pleased to recognize faculty who have received highly prestigious national and international awards. These awards reflect the amazing research, scholarship and creative work of our faculty, and elevates the university's profile across the nation and world.
Our faculty have earned 250 competitive awards and honors spanning research, teaching, discovery, and professional impact. These recognitions include 93 professional society fellowships, 65 early career awards, 45 professional prestigious awards, 36 national and international recognitions, and 10 highly prestigious awards.
The awards our faculty have received span every academic college and also include 56 National Science Foundation Faculty Early Career Development (NSF CAREER) Awards, 26 Fulbright Scholar Awards, 9 American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) Fellow recognitions, 3 Guggenheim Fellowships, 2 American Academy of Arts and Sciences Member/Fellow honors, and 1 election to the National Academy of Sciences.
