Recent National and International Awardees
Marty Matlock
Marty Matlock, professor of biological and agricultural engineering at the U of A and the U of A System Division of Agriculture, has been named a 2025 Fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science. This honor recognizes his contributions to agricultural sustainability standards and expanding Indigenous STEM participation. Learn more.
Moon-Sook Park
Moon-Sook Park, an associate professor of music and voice in Department of Music, was selected to serve as a Fulbright U.S. Scholar in Germany during the 2024-25
academic year. Park's research aims to enhance Korean language learning and cultural
understanding through an interdisciplinary approach that incorporates neurological
research, vocology tools and the International Phonetic Alphabet. Read more about Park and this award.
Wayne Kuenzel
Wayne Kuenzel, professor of physiology and neuroendocrinology, was recently honored as a Fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science for his contributions to science. Kuenzel conducts research through the Arkansas Agricultural Experiment Station, and he teaches courses on physiology and neuroendocrinology in the poultry science department of the Dale Bumpers College of Agricultural, Food and Life Sciences.
